Position the wrench handle so the recoil lug of the action is in the milled recess of the wrench handle. Place the wrench head on the front receiver ring. Install the 1/2-20 x 3 machine screws. Tighten the 1/2-20 machine screws carefully. Use only enough torque to hold the head snug against the receiver ring (35-40 ft. lbs.). Caution: too much torque can smash or bend the receiver. Turn the Action Wrench to remove the action from the barrel.
