Faxon barrels are manufactured in-house from 4150 Mil-Spec steel, fully stress relieved, air-gauged tested with an 11-degree target crown. Each barrel receives testing at each operation before Nitride finishing and final inspection. All barrels are individually checked for headspace with precision gauges. MPI Inspected.
The Faxon Gunner profile combines two of the best performing profiles, the Government and Pencil. The Gunner profile utilizes the durable nature of the Government while the Pencil profile allows for reduced weight and improved maneuverability. The Gunner profile is ideal for limiting fatigue for long range sessions, training or hunting.
