The LMT MARS-L MRP includes the patented MRP(Monolithic Rail Platform), MARS-L ambidextrous lower receiver and 16″ chrome lined barrel.
The MRP(Monolithic Rail Platform)is a true monolithic rail platform and is machined from a single aluminum forging. It utilizes two locking bolts to lock the proprietary barrel in place. This patented design engages the barrel extension for a full 360 degrees while allowing for easy removal with return to zero of the same barrel.
The upper receiver features 18.5″ of uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail at the 12 o’clock position while the remaining 7 sides have M-LOK compactible slots.
The LMT MARS-L lower receiver features ambidextrous controls including the bolt catch, magazine catch and safety selector. Included with the MARS-L is a SOPMOD stock, ergonomic textured pistol grip and dry film coated extension tube.
