The Sparrow Dynamics CRG-15 is a non-pistol grip option for a compliant “featureless” rifle. The CRG-15 is designed to be comfortable and functional as possible for your modern AR-15 rifle. 
The CRG-15 does not meet California’s definition of a pistol grip. A California “featureless” rifle is a fully functioning rifle without the characteristic(features) found on an “assault weapon” such as a pistol grip, flash hider and telescoping stock.
