The 1892 Alaskan combines tradition with modern technology. The Alaskan delivers knock down power with the combination of Hornady’s Leverevolution ammunition. It features a durable matte chrome finish with a D shaped lever, weaver rail with peep sight with red fiber optic, half-octogonal barrel. The stock and forend are made from walnut and comes overmolded in a soft rubber finish.
It uses the same disassembly as the original 1892 and features interrupted threaded within the receiver and barrel extension. To take down the rifle the action must be levered open, the disassembly lever on the magazine tube used to unscrew the tube until it is free from the receiver, then while holding the tube slightly up from the action twist the barrel 90 degrees so that it is perpendicular to the receiver (large muzzle brakes or suppressors may need to be removed before disassembly).
