The barrel is constructed of stainless steel and left with a Nitride finish. Add in CVAs Quick-Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable), 100% ambidextrous stock, and a CrushZone recoil pad, and youve got a gun with more quality features than any other muzzle loading rifle in its price range. It is equipped with a 24.3″ barrel. It comes standard with an Konus 3-9×40 scope, am integrated scope mount, and CVAs solid aluminum PalmSaver ramrod.
