Combat Troodon Gen III The Combat Troodon Gen III is easily Microtech’s best OTF yet, as they’ve made significant upgrades AND reduced the price! You heard that right: It’s better and more affordable than its predecessors. What makes it so great? The chassis upgrade elevates its style and ergonomics. You can easily field strip it with the standard Torx hardware. The internals have been stripped and redone, resulting in some of the easiest, smoothest OTF action on the market. And most importantly, the Crud Cutter milled grooves under the thumb slide reduces friction, breaks apart debris and lint, and contributes to that smooth-sailing operation. People loved the Combat Troodon because it’s a big, hard-hitting beast of an OTF knife, and the Gen III version is all that, but with the value cranked way up. 11/10. Would recommend.
